Hartland is a typical Devon Town with a small collection of shops and pubs around 2.5 miles off the A39. The port and market town of Bideford is approximately 15 miles away with the seaside town of Bude in the opposite direction the same distance away. Barnstaple North Devon's principle town is approximately 26 miles from Hartland.
